We have two listservs for sustainability topics in the Madison area of Wisconsin:

• The Sustain Dane listserv [sustaindane] is mainly for announcements and one-time messages

• The Sustain Dane Discussion listserv [SDdiscuss] is for more active and ongoing discussions

About the Sustain Dane Listserv

The Sustain Dane listserv is a forum for sharing ideas, resources, questions, and announcements related to local sustainability. We have close to 200 members from a range of backgrounds - including government, university, utilities, business, and citizen activists.

Guidelines

Please use the Sustain Dane listserv mostly for announcements and one-time messages:

• Typical messages will be announcements, requests for information, invitation to join a project or initiative, etc.
• As a rule, respond to the sender of a message rather than to the listserv, unless you have information that would benefit the whole.
• If you have requested information on a certain topic, please consider compiling the information you receive and send it to the listserv. This will limit number of emails and at the same time benefit others.
• Remember to stay on topic, be polite, and sign with your full name.
• Please use the Sustain Dane discussion listserv for more active and ongoing discussions.
