Dane County is home to some of the most precious freshwater lakes, streams, and marshes in the state.  It is also one of the fastest growing counties in the state, expecting to grow by 60,000 people in the coming decade.  We depend upon our freshwater resources for countless recreational opportunities like fishing and boating, to grow our crops, and most importantly, to keep us healthy.
