"Sustain Dane gave me an opportunity to explore the concept of sustainability in its entirety. Through this internship, I gained a deeper understanding of how sustainability isn’t just about “going green”, it is about all of the intersections of our daily lives working together to build a successful community, a fair economy and a healthy planet. And in order to achieve this within Dane County, is takes communication, cooperation, and community." -Amanda, Fall 2016 intern

“One of my favorite parts of the internship was being able to promote so many of Sustain Dane’s programs. It was neat to see how they’re all connected to one another and how different groups in Madison are coming together to create a more sustainable community. I feel so lucky to have gotten the opportunity to work with such an incredible, dedicated, and hardworking team.” -Kelsey, Spring/Summer 2016 Communications Intern
