Nominate a Badger Bioneer!

Each year, Sustain Dane hosts Badger Bioneers, a two-day conference showcasing leading models of sustainability in southern Wisconsin, and providing opportunities for citizens to engage in advancing this work. (This year’s conference will be held November 11-12 at Edgewood College.) An important part of the conference are the actual “Badger Bioneers,” the thinker and doers behind these leading sustainability models.
Can you nominate someone to be a “Badger Bioneer”?
We are looking for nominations for someone you believe exemplifies sustainability, and who inspires others to take similar actions. Is that an entrepreneur who has started a revolutionary business? A teacher who has launched a program that is changing the curriculum? A community leader? Our guidelines are fairly open: Please keep in mind Sustain Dane’s mission in helping people “go sustainable” at work, home and school, and please nominate someone who is actively implementing a program or leading an initiative.
The Badger Bioneer Selection Committee is meeting during the first week of June to select the five award recipients. The Committee consists of representatives from the Edgewood College Sustainability Leadership Graduate Program, Sustain Dane’s Board of Directors and staff.
Please send nominations by May 27 directly to Phil Busse, .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
