Mpower ChaMpions

The Mpower Business ChaMpion Program, is the first in South-Central Wisconsin that ensures businesses “go green” effectively and efficiently. Over the span of one year, we work with participating businesses and help them both develop and roll out a sustainability strategy that will enable them to achieve measurable results.

We are NOW accepting applications for the 2012 Mpower ChaMpion Program.

We start by helping businesses adopt and implement energy efficiency measures, because of their immediate return-on-investment. From there, we move on to other measures that may include alternative transportation, water efficiency, and business culture.

A key aspect of the program is directly connecting businesses with a wealth of resources that will help them reach their goals, such as Focus On Energy, Rideshare, and others. We also manage an online discussion platform and organize monthly meetings, enabling ChaMpions to share strategies and build capacity within the business cohort.

All participating businesses document and measure their progress, thus creating a knowledge base of best practices that will benefit future ChaMpions and the greater business community.
